Mala care

Malas are strung on cord, often knotted between beads.

• Keep it dry; water weakens cord and can mark wood and seed.
• Store it coiled loosely in a pouch.
• Comb a tassel gently with your fingers if it tangles.
• Have a well-used mala restrung when the cord frays.
